Session-Based Checkout
Every payment starts with a session. The OnCharge API creates a session, generates a signed token, and returns an iframe URL. The iframe loads PSP-provided secured card fields. No card data touches your server or ours.
Risk-Gated Payment Flow
Before the Adyen Drop-in even renders, OnCharge runs a risk evaluation: reCAPTCHA score, IP intelligence (VPN, TOR, datacenter), email validation, phone checks, headless browser detection, and checkout timing analysis. If the risk score exceeds the threshold, the shopper is either blocked or required to complete SMS verification.
Durable Webhook Processing
PSP webhooks are acknowledged within milliseconds and processed via a durable job queue. Session status updates, dispute creation, and merchant callback delivery all happen reliably with exponential backoff retries.
Chargeback Automation
When a chargeback is opened, OnCharge ingests the event, creates a dispute record, and can auto-populate the global blocklist. Evidence documents can be uploaded and submitted to the PSP with one click.
Merchant Onboarding
New merchants apply through the OnCharge dashboard with required documents (Articles of Organization, EIN, bank statements, processing statements, legal opinion). Automated screening checks completeness and volume thresholds. Admin review provisions store credentials.
